![]() losing half an hour just to defend against completly harmless attacks It's highly annoying to deal with several harmless stacks of enemies when you have a lot of towns. Originally posted by Elhazzared:My point still is. They certainly make the game interesting - although it would be nice to know what either triggers these occurances or how many and what type of them there are. This isn't a complaint! I just wondered if there was a complete out-of-game list of these things somewehere. I could totally have taken them out at that point, but my main armies were busy on the other side of the world (so to speak). In another game, a double stack (flock?) of bone dragons and necro casters (not hero) ate about half my civ (I think it was in the 40's or something). ![]() Since my heroes were around lvl 5 at that point, wiht only a few tier 2 units, it was a massacre. As an example, in one game round about turn 30-ish, a massive independent army showed up and sacked a couple of my early cities -lvl 16 independent leader (so I thought it was an event), several assassin squads, a pheonix, and a couple other things (don't remember exactly, but they were tier 2). ![]() However, I seem to be encountering "events" that aren't listed. On a related note, I've perused the list of "cosmic happenings" in the guide. ![]()
